Creepy sneaky ninja3/14/2023 I play in PFS, so I don't want to bring a character around that will make others feel horrified and not want to play with me.but I want something leaning more towards the dark and spooky end of the acceptable spectrum that has a nice spooky feel to it.īeing that I play PFS, that means PFS legal options only (no evil characters, Paizo on materials, etc)Īlso looking for good spooky magic items, preferably ones that are useful without being insanely expensive.Things like the Grim Lantern caught my eye. Mosquito season can be a real pain.Been wanting to make a spooky character for a while, but I'm coming up dry on ideas that aren't heavy on the squick factor.Īnyone got any ideas for characters with a more PG-13 level of spook that don't lean too hard on making people feel super uncomfortable? Since I can’t guarantee that my daughter will keep anti-itch cream on her while she is busy playing, I appreciate that this can reduce itching until a quiet time when I can apply cream as she needs it. I will probably still use anti-itch creams to keep the itching at bay for long periods of time, but I like that this all natural and easy to carry pump can reduce itching immediately when we are out and about. There is a slight pinch when the pump is pulling on the skin, so I’m not sure my daughter would be patient enough to wait the full 30 seconds in the directions. Overall I was pleased with the Bug Bite Thing’s ability to reduce my urge to itch for a little while. When I released the pump, I did notice less itching immediately. I grabbed the Bug Bite Thing and followed the instructions. I was so excited to try it and see if it worked! When I finally got my first bug bite of the season, I was actually almost happy, until it started itching of course. When I first received the Bug Bite Thing I was pretty annoying to my family, asking constantly if they had a bug bite. It uses suction to draw out insect poison and is safe for the whole family. The Bug Bite Thing offers an all natural and chemical free solution to ease the itching from bug bites. In case you aren’t as fast as a ninja, the Bug Bite Thing has you covered! I was really excited to try this product, since we get bit a lot in our family. Make it into a game and have kids roll a die, then add the correct number of bites to their ninja. You could also use this to work on number recognition and counting skills. My daughter really enjoyed making spots all over the ninja, even if she didn’t quite get them in the circles. Kids will enjoy adding bites to the ninja while they work on their fine motor skills. The child with the most bites becomes the next mosquito!įine Motor Mosquito Bites – Using this ninja printable, have kids add mosquito bites to him using a Q-tip and red paint, or a red marker. Have the kids play for a set amount of time and then count up their mosquito bites. Their job is to chase the other kids (the ninjas) and try to tag them with a red dot (or mosquito bite). One child plays the role of the mosquito and is armed with red stickers or red chalk. Game of Mosquito Tag – Mosquitoes sneak up on you, so this gives you the perfect opportunity to start a game of tag! Get kids moving by encouraging them to run around as either ninjas or a mosquito. This book is a cute story that shows that ninjas are too fast to be caught by mosquitoes, but are mosquitoes fast enough to escape ninjas? This quick and lighthearted read aloud is illustrated with big and bold illustrations that will keep kids giggling until the twist ending. While they can bite most of us, today’s book asserts that they aren’t fast and sneaky enough to bite ninjas! Mosquitoes Can’t Bite NInjas was written and illustrated by Jordan P. Mosquitoes are fast and sneaky bugs that bite you when you least expect it. I received a copy of the book as well as the product reviewed in exchange for my honest review. I may receive a commission from purchases you make through the links in this post. Standard Disclosure: This post contains affiliate links. Check out how this all natural product works, and see how it can help you in a jam. I also had the opportunity to try The Bug Bite Thing to help reduce itchiness when the mosquitoes do get you. It’s a colorful new book about mosquitoes and ninjas which just may get kids moving! Try the fun activities together to get your mind off the pesky bugs outside. I decided to take some of the sting out of mosquito season by sharing a fun new read aloud. Summer is here, which means the bugs are out! In my family, we are pretty prone to bug bites, so mosquitoes are a big part of our summer festivities.

Some collaborate with computers to make their weavings others weave by hand, but use data or internet memes as a basis for woven patterns. Some use data analysis, while others use metaphor. The artists in this exhibition investigate the complex relationship between weaving and computing. This same habit of erasure now plays out in high tech’s origin myths and frequent failure to cultivate inclusivity in education, hiring, and product design. Historically, narratives of industrialization have minimized the contributions of women, low-wage laborers, and people of color. High technology’s roots in the Industrial Revolution may explain some of the biases and challenges currently facing the industry. One element was the punch card, which remained a primary medium for programming and inputting data to computers into the 1980s. Charles Babbage’s Analytical Engine (1834), the blueprint for modern computing and algorithms, borrowed elements of its design from the Jacquard loom. The Jacquard weaving process, first demonstrated in 1801, gave instructions to a loom using holes punched in paper cards-an early form of binary code. Florida driving test road rules3/14/2023 We know that the journey to driving alone can be hard and you’ll likely have questions of your own. Once you pass the Florida DMV permit test and get your permit, you will be allowed to drive with a licensed driver who is at least 21 years old.Ĭontact us for help practicing for the Florida DMV permit test. It is advised that you take a defensive driving course as well, but this is not required. You will be allowed to apply for a Florida driver’s permit as long as you are 15 years or older and you have the consent of your legal guardian. There are more laws than you think and if you don’t pass the Florida DMV permit test, you will have to retake it until you do. These may seem like simple questions, but don’t be fooled. This is a test consisting mainly of multiple choice questions about driving laws and road signs. To get a Florida driver’s permit, you must first take a Florida DMV permit test. You must have had a driver’s permit first. In Florida, you must be 16 to get a driver’s license, but that’s not all. Actually, the number of drivers in America is slowly falling, and it’s important to remember that you’d only see driver’s licenses in Florida if everyone is above the age of 16. In a room full of people, ask to see ID’s and you’d expect every one of your fellow humans to pull out their driver’s licenses. Look around, and you’ll see cars everywhere with competent drivers in the front seat, skilled in the art of getting from point A to point B. To pass, you must have 20/40 (or better) vision in each and both eyes, with or without corrective lenses. It seems like everyone is driving. You can also take re-test online if you fail. You may take this DMV exam online, but your parent or guardian must monitor you during the exam. You must have 40 correct answers to pass (80%). A written knowledge exam of 50 multiple choice questions about traffic laws and traffic signs.Documents needed to establish your proof of identity: proof of social security number (if issued), and proof of residential address.Step-parents may not sign unless they have legally adopted you. If you are under 18 and are not married one parent or legal guardian must sign your license application.Parental Consent Form, which must be signed in the presence of a driver license examiner or notarized if parent or guardian will not be present.Proof that you completed a Traffic Law and Substance Abuse Education course (Drug and Alcohol Course and pass the Drug and Alcohol Test - both may be done online) and.All applicants must show proof that they have completed a traffic law and substance abuse education course (the drug and alcohol course and test - available online at - and will be required to pass vision and hearing tests, road rules and road sign tests, plus a driving test.Īpplicants for a learner's license must be at least 15 years old and must present a parental consent form. Will hogwarts legacy be multiplayer3/14/2023 This will keep you busy for quite a while. This has been confirmed on the games FAQ as well as over on the PlayStation. If you have completed the main story, continue trying to get to max level 40 and continue to seek out some additional collectibles. Is hogwarts legacy multiplayer Hogwarts Legacy is not multiplayer or co-op. Even being a single-player experience, there are still tons of things that you can do. A release date for that has not been announced, but it should be pretty interesting when the mod is made available.įor now, continue doing what you do best at Hogwarts. Modder Yamashi, who has developed multiplayer mods for other single-player video games, has confirmed that a Hogwarts Legacy multiplayer mod is in the early stages of development. In fact, thanks to mods, you may be able to download a multiplayer mod that will allow you to get your multiplayer fix in after all. If you purchased Hogwarts Legacy on PC, multiplayer may not completely be out of the question. Hogwarts Legacy could be getting multiplayer on PC thanks to mods The game is built around the single-player experience and with the records it is setting, they rather just build on that with potential DLC down the line in the future. Hogwarts Legacy is an immersive, open-world action RPG set in the world first introduced in the Harry Potter books. This information comes directly from the publishers themselves, Portkey Games. Portkey Games may throw another our way with the inclusion of online multiplayer, but I wouldn’t hold your breath on that one. No, Hogwarts Legacy doesnt have any form of multiplayer or co-op, neither online nor offline. There are plenty of surprises and secrets in Hogwarts Legacy already. Would it be cool to travel the Wizarding World with a group of your friends? Sure, but the game doesn’t need it to make your experience any better than it already is. If you head over to the Hogwarts Legacy FAQ, developer Avalanche state very clearly that “Hogwarts Legacy is a single-player experience and does not have online or co-op gameplay.” With that being said, I wouldn’t expect to ever officially have online multiplayer this year or any year for that matter. Getting to travel around the Wizarding World on a Flying Broom, brewing potions to give you boosts in battles, and harnessing the power of the three Unforgiveable Curses are just a few reasons why so many have been loving the game so far.Īs you may already know, Hogwarts Legacy is a single-player game only, but is multiplayer in the cards for 2023 or even beyond? When you dive into Hogwarts Legacy for the first time, you are attending Hogwarts as a fifth-year student. Hogwarts Legacy was one of the most anticipated video games to come in 2023 and it did not disappoint.

Catholic iconographer robert l3/13/2023 This is a Catholic perspective from a very devout Catholic. 40 The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments.” 39 The second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. 38 This is the greatest and the first commandment. He said to him, “You shall love the Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. The Bible on the subject of giving attention to other people: We must put God first, but we must also keep a second place open for people (both living and dead). But the whole of Hebrews 11 is a remembrance of good people. That if the images remind us too much of other people, we will then turn attention away from God. We don't worship our own bodies because of that, but we do believe that physical things are in fact good and can be directed toward the sanctification of men and the praise of God. We believe in the resurrection of the body, and the body is "physical" in this way: it is a temple of God. But this is absurd, because God made the world, and said that it was good. That there is something wrong with giving any attention to the "physical" world during worship. These activities can be directed towards the praise of God, and it seems incoherent to suggest that communicating something through writing featuring God is fine, while images featuring God have something wrong with them (the only basis I can see for such a view is what I describe very negatively in point #1). There is no biblical basis for this point. That images in particular are " disrespectful". Furthermore, the Bible depicts God as wrestling with Jacob in Genesis 32. But Jesus became true man, and was described as being very human in almost everything He did. That it is confusing to humans to imagine God so closely tied to the world around us. It is sinful and idolatrous to believe that a physical object has this sort of spiritual effect on God. They suggest that Jesus was not fully human, and that physical objects can even in principle be used to "trap" the divine. Tales about vampires present them as having no reflection in a mirror, and as being invisible in pictures. There are stories of native tribes that thought photographs stole a person's soul. That creating an image of God would be sacrilegious or spiritually improper. The objections to using images seem to be: Compared to the typical Catholic who merely looks at something religious to inspire prayer and worship to God. If someone starts yelling "this is our god", then perhaps we would have good reason to believe that idolatry is being committed. Idolatry is an especially internal sin, so the words of Matthew 7:1 are especially pertinent. This is idolatry not because they use icons or images, but because give worship to something in place of God.) (Some people worship false gods using icons or images. Some particular images have sentimental value within a culture, and a rich history. An icon is an image that reminds us of good people and events, sometimes viewed during prayer. An idol is something worshipped as divine under the mistaken belief that it contains something divine or is itself God.The simple answer is that they do not consider all images to be idols (just think of photographs), and believe that members of the Church are able to distinguish between a work of art and God without the need for direct enforcement: after all, Catholics believe that the Word was made Flesh, and dwelt among us, and still dwells among us in the form of the Blessed Eucharist, literally God present before us, as He was present before Thomas, who doubted. Why do churches like the Catholic Church permit icons when idolatry is forbidden?
